You say you want a resolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world..

Oh wait, that's supposed to be revolution, not resolution. Never mind!

So here we are at the beginning of a new year. A new decade, even. Seems not that long ago when everyone was a headless chicken over the Y2K overrated scare, doesn't it?

Are you in the habit of making New Year's Resolutions? If so, why not share them in the comments section (anonymously, of course). I'm sure I must have made my share of them in the past but they are long forgotten and I am sure, long broken, too.

What do you think - is 2010 going to be a broken record or is this going to be the year of accomplishment? I have to tell you, I dread going back to work on Monday. It's so easy to get used to having days off - for me that's a big motivator to find a way to make that happen all the time!

That's my resolve - to make good on that 5-year countdown plan to somehow be financially independent concurrently with the payoff of the mortgage. It's a 4.25 year plan as of today (according to my countdown register that keeps ticking).

And thank you Donna for your nice blessing in yesterday's comments about having thousands of words to write - like miles, the journey begins with the first step (or first peck on the keys).

To all of you reading this blog, be there any, may you all have a very blessed and happy 2010!
