Tradition

Not much time to write today.. we're on the road for a brief respite from the work week.

As has become a tradition, a vacation, even a mini-one, is not a vacation without stopping at one of the locations of this chain at least once!

As usual, everything was outstanding.

Oh, one other thing. I posted earlier this week about the James Taylor and Carole King reunion concert. Today I found out how much it costs for seats at the Hollywood Bowl on May 14th - $169.00 each. That's a bit steep but those were for box seats (which are all sold out now anyway). I'm hoping the non-box sections higher up the hill are a bit more affordable..

That's all for now. Happy TGIF!

Pretty expensive, but I think worth the price. They are so good.

After thinking about it, that was too much to pay even for James Taylor and Carole King (if it had been any other artists, there would be no question it was too expensive.. well, maybe I might pause if it were Steely Dan but nope, too expensive). However, today it was announced that if you are an American Express cardholder, you can buy advance tickets prior to the general public November 23 on sale date. The available seats are higher up than the boxes, but they are also lower in price!

I saw them last year with Judy Collins in Cerritos.

So how were they? Did they have the original backup band, too? By the way, a 2nd Hollywood Bowl date has been added, May 15 (Saturday). Advance tickets go on sale through James Taylor's site on Monday at 10:00.
